We have produced websites and web applications for a broad range of clients, including large multinationals (including Apple), startups and international NGOs, as well as our own products. Now we are looking for a seasoned Azure Data and Analytics Engineer to work directly with an exciting US client.

Our client, a consumer retail company, is a Digital-First organization and continues building and deploying end-to-end digital solutions that solve unmet needs and generate value through a fully integrated digital ecosystem, including smart-factories and adaptive supply-chain. The supply chain data and digital-first framework is being driven by a team that is transforming the underlying end-to-end business processes and architectures, master data ecosystem management, evolution, governance, integration, building a sustainable support model, and driving adoption of digital tools that generate new value and improve employee, customer, and consumer experiences.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure Data and Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a deep understanding of the Azure Analytics and AI/ML tech stack, with a focus on data engineering, we want to hear from you! This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about designing and developing cutting-edge solutions in the world of data and analytics.

You will:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and goals.
• Design, develop, and implement Azure data solutions using the Azure Analytics and AI/ML tech stack.
• Work on data engineering tasks, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Create scalable and efficient data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Optimize and troubleshoot Azure data solutions for performance and reliability.
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

MUST-HAVES:

• High Ability to communicate in English (Professional Proficiency Required). This is a client-facing position.
• Strong experience with Azure Data and Analytics technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Proficiency in designing and building data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Neo4J is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Azure certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Compensation, Contract, Terms

• USD 30, per hour, paid monthly.
• Contract: Freelance (prestación de servicios) with our company in the US.
• Duration: 18+ months
• Full time. 40 Hours per week.
• Location: Fully Remote. Open to LATAM countries.
• Start date: Oct 2023.
