About Us

NetMidas is a software development company based in Cali since 2007. We have produced websites and web applications for a broad range of clients, including large multinationals (including Apple), startups and international NGOs, as well as our own products. Now we are looking for an ambitious Full Stack developer to work directly with an exciting US client.

About our client

The client is an award-winning Australian technology company. They are streamlining compliance management for major industry players including Woodside, Beach Energy, UGL, INPEX, Enermech, Incitec Pivot Ltd and Methanex. Their products aren't just solving problems for the Energy and Resources sector - it’s also being used across Defence, Health Care, Volunteering and other highly regulated industries. They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer that would be the key member of their development team, focused on a range of areas within their product.

Requirements

Must Haves:

• Ability to communicate in English (minimum level B2)
• 4+ years in software development
• Typescript proficient 
• Modern Web Application Frameworks, eg: Angular, Vue, React, Svelte
• Java and/or NodeJs development experience
• RDBMS eg: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, etc
• Google Suite, JIRA & Product Board Intermediate to advanced experience

Nice to haves:

• Spring Boot (Java)
• Java JPA
• Swagger/OpenApi (Java)
• Neo4j or similar graph database
• Previous exposure to AWS application development 
• Messages Queues, eg: RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka
• Previous work experience in a DevOps environment
• Trouble-shooting support experience

You will:

• Web development of their products and services.
• Support and apply some optimizations in their products.
• Set up a staging environment.
• Work with a distributed team to define and implement best practices and standards.
• Have a great time and develop your professional skills working with a fast-paced startup!

Compensation, Contract, Terms

• USD 30 - 33  per hour, paid monthly.
• Contract: 9-12 months with possibility for extension, freelance (prestación de servicios) with our company in US.
• Full time.
•  Start date: May 2023.
