About Us

NetMidas is a software development company based in Cali since 2007. We have produced websites and web applications for a broad range of clients, including large multinationals (including Apple), startups and international NGOs, as well as our own products. Now we are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer to work directly with an exciting US client.

Our client, a consumer retail company, is a Digital-First organization and continues building and deploying end-to-end digital solutions that solve unmet needs and generate value through a fully integrated digital ecosystem, including smart-factories and adaptive supply-chain. The supply chain data and digital-first framework is being driven by a team that is transforming the underlying end-to-end business processes and architectures, master data ecosystem management, evolution, governance, integration, building a sustainable support model, and driving adoption of digital tools that generate new value and improve employee, customer, and consumer experiences.

What we are looking for

We are looking for talented Neo4J Designers and Data Engineers to join our team. If you have a passion for graph databases and are experienced in designing and implementing solutions with Neo4J, we want to hear from you! This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the world of graph databases.

You will:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their graph database requirements and business needs.
• Design and implement Neo4J graph databases and data models.
• Develop efficient data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Optimize and fine-tune Neo4J databases for performance and scalability.
• Work closely with other team members to integrate Neo4J with other data technologies.
• Stay current with the latest developments in Neo4J and graph database technology.
• Provide expertise and guidance on Neo4J best practices.

Must-Haves:

• High Ability to communicate in English (Professional Proficiency Required). This is a client-facing position.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions with Neo4J.
• Strong knowledge of graph database concepts and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Cypher query language.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Compensation, Contract, Terms

• USD 30, per hour, paid monthly.
• Contract: Freelance (prestación de servicios) with our company in the US.
• Duration: 18+ months
• Full time. 40 Hours per week.
• Location: Fully Remote. Open to LATAM countries.
• Start date: Oct 2023.
