We built a video game studio in Cali, Colombia!
The global market for gaming is 198 billion USD (est 2022) per year and growing fast. A US/Icelandic client asked if we could build a world-class game development studio in Cali. That was 18 months ago. We did it in 2 months, we brought together the best and the brightest video game creatives and developers to form the Cygnus Cross video game studio. And we are proud to share a sample of their work to date:
Throughout the process, we focused on creating a positive and fresh workspace and highly competitive salaries, for these creative minds to thrive and create incredible products.
Since the beginning, Cygnus has produced work to the highest international standards. Cygnus produced incredible projects such as Bootcamp for Neace one of the most famous streamers in the world of League of Legends, a game (pixel art style) of NFT for DGNZ, and has two of its own games under production.
We have organized virtual events for the team with very prominent industry leaders such as Paul Sams former president of Blizzard Entertainment (World of Warcraft, and now a board member of Cygnus!) and Magnus Bergsson (CMO of CCP Games), Nick Deligaris (Emmy-nominated Digital Artist).
With this team, we are putting Cali on the global map, and we are extremely proud of everyone on the team, and their remarkable achievements so far. For that reason, we are able to continue our support for Colombian software and creative talent in international markets.
